What a year 2017 has been! As well as being blessed with my first child – my son Reuben, I have been fortunate enough to be documenting wonderfully colourful weddings across the UK and beyond. Bela and Lorenzo’s celebrations were no exception and I was absolutely delighted to have been their Indian wedding photographer for their events.

Their Hindu wedding and reception took place at The Conservatory at Painshill Park under the summer skies. Again, it was great to see so many familiar faces, friends and past couples. This event was particularly unique as I was able to document the union of a Greek and Indian cultural fusion, which I really enjoyed.

The groom’s entrance was especially memorable as the Jaan was led by Lorenzo’s very musically gifted brothers. Seriously, these guys know their way around a guitar (with vocals to match). The entrance concluded with Bhangra music led by Bela’s side. It felt like the reception party was kicking off and the day had only just begun!

The Hindu wedding ceremony was a new experience for Lorenzo and his family, but it was certainly an occasion that was enjoyed by all who attended. The Greek party influence was evident during the reception where energetic traditional dancing from various members of the family really stole the show (as you’ll see in the pictures below). But it was the union of these two families that I really enjoyed documenting and that is what I strive to do, in the most honest and creative way possible.

Bela and Lorenzo are the kind of people that are completely relatable and genuine. It was an absolute pleasure being a part of their celebrations and I wish them both the very best and a long and happy marriage together. Below are some of the highlights from the day. I hope you enjoy them.
