 TAMIL HINDU WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY LONDON

I had a great time photographing Nivetha and Riso’s Tamil wedding celebrations. The chemistry between them was one of the main reasons why I was excited to document this Tamil Hindu wedding. I first got to experience this during our pre-wedding shoot earlier in the year and soon realised that gifting surprises to his wife-to-be was a topic high on the agenda for Riso. I got to document the official surprise proposal during the pre-shoot. Something a bit different for me!

As with most Tamil Hindu weddings, it was another early start to the day. Once the respective morning ceremonies were completed at each house, everyone made their way to the venue. However, before this occurred, Riso had one more surprise up his sleeve. A cute puppy named Rex was gifted to Nivetha much to her surprise! The gesture set the tone to what was a to be a wonderful day.

Tamil Hindu wedding photography requires an acute sense of awareness to what is taking place. A lot of ceremony sequences occur and this event was no different. The stage was dressed with beautiful traditional colours together with the golds and oranges Nivetha was wearing. I love colour and the arrangement made my role as their Tamil wedding photographer all the more pleasurable.

Being a wedding photographer involves observing behaviour. From the very start of our journey together, it was clear that the chemistry between them was strong. Both are genuinely besotted by each other. Nothing made me happier than to document their wedding occasion for them as their London wedding photographer.
