Muslim weddings are an epitome of festivity and religious harmony. Being a Muslim wedding photographer in London, I have had the pleasure of shooting a multitude of Mehndi, Nikkah, and Walima ceremonies. Each time I was delighted to see the bond that Muslim families share, the elegance they have in their events and the religious element of the ceremonies.
From the customary gowns and elaborate jewels of the bride, customs and traditions, food, music, everything seems so royal yet simplistic. The details, vibrance and cheerfulness of the events are always a pleasure to capture.
My Muslim wedding photography is orientated around natural, candid photos of the couple, family and their friends. The Nikkah, which is the main day of a Muslim Wedding, can turn out to be an emotional roller coaster ride for many people. After the Imam recites the Dua and gives blessings to the couple, there is usually a burst of raw emotions – a golden opportunity for every wedding photographer to capture key memorable moments.
The Walima is the final dinner/lunch that groom arranges for his and the bride’s family and friends. In my time as a Muslim wedding photographer I have witnessed many beautiful speeches, most often sparking moments of laughter and joy. I am always at the ready, waiting to document those once in a lifetime moments. I take pride in the quality of work and my passion for delivering beautiful yet heartfelt photographs, which I hope you and your family can cherish for life.
As your Muslim wedding photographer, I want to make sure that I capture every single moment as the event unfolds - the laughter, the tears and everything in between.
